• Teams Events

Apart from individual monthly team meetings, events are organised at a Sector and Regional and International level.

Sectors all celebrate the birthday of Teams with Mass around the 8th December, the feast of the Immaculate Conception. There are also social, family oriented days.

The GB Region holds Conferences, Training Sessions, Weekend Retreats and Holiday Sessions. Holiday Sessions are a mix of fun and spiritual development, with talks, workshops etc.

One special occasion which can happen at an International, National or Sector level is the ‘mixed team meeting’ where couples who don’t know each other meet for a typical team meeting using the standard format starting with a simple meal. It is one of the great strengths of the Movement that couples from any part of the world can come together and instantly feel the intimacy and love that comes from having shared values and a recognition that we are all facing the same challenges.

Below are future events throughout the Great Britain - some organised by Sectors, and some by Region. We hope that that you can attend events in your Region or neighbouring area. Many of the more social activities are open to anyone interested in joining the Movement and can be a very good way of meeting Teams people and finding out more about the movement.

"The recent Gatherings mark the transition of the three GB Pre-Regions into fully fledged Regions in their own right. Each Region was launched by Peter and Mary Hayes at the respective gatherings.

At the Gatherings, the new Trans-Atlantic Super-Region was also unveiled. This will cover the GB Regions, the Irish and Trinidad and Tobago Regions, as well as the isolated sector in South Africa, and the fledgling Team in Malawi. The Super-Region will formally come into being on 1st January 2006. Paul and Helena McCloskey have accepted the role of Super-Regional Couple."
